At Sheepgate, we believe in the power of transformation. Your donation doesn’t just clear space; it paves the way for positive change. Your old vehicle can become a beacon of hope for those in need. Whether running smoothly or needing a little TLC, we accept all types – cars, trucks, vans, and much more.

Donating is a breeze! We’ll arrange to pick up your vehicle, whether you’re at home or not, and handle all the paperwork. It’s hassle-free giving at its finest. Our skilled team breathes new life into each donation, selling the restored vehicles at auction. Donations are tax-deductible, and every penny raised at auction directly supports our addiction recovery programs in Iowa and Nebraska.

Donation Information

If you have a vehicle to donate (running or not) please call (888) 344-HOPE (4673).

Our Vehicle Donation Program accepts cars, trucks, vans, crossovers, SUV’s, boats, campers, trailers, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV’s, semis, dump trucks, jet skis, buses, snowmobiles, and more! Please contact us with information on the specific item you wish to donate.

Donations are tax-deductible and all proceeds go to Sheepgate to help save lives!

We arrange to pick your vehicle up (whether you’re home or not) and we handle all the paperwork. We make it simple and hassle-free for you to donate.

Here’s a brief outline of the Sheepgate auto donation process:

  • We schedule the time for a free pickup or tow.
  • We call you the day of pickup to confirm and let you know we are en-route.
  • All we need are vehicle keys and the title, signed by everyone listed as “owner” on the title.
  • At the time of pickup, we’ll remove and return your old plates, and issue you a very simple receipt that shows that we took possession of the vehicle.
  • It also shows that our liability insurance is activated at that moment.
  • Once the car arrives at our facility, we’ll complete the titling paperwork and you will receive a tax deductible receipt within 30 days of the sale of your vehicle.

Auction Information

  • Bidder registration and vehicle viewing begins at 8am on auction day.
  • The auction starts at 10am.
  • Parking and shuttle are available on on auction day from Colfax-Mingo Jr/Sr High School.
  • The run sheet may be viewed, downloaded and printed here several days before the next auction.
  • All vehicles are sold as-is and have been through our shop to ensure drive train and brakes work properly.

  • $10 registration fee and cash payment is preferred for this.
  • Registered bidders only will be allowed in the auction field.

  • All bids are final.
  • Swapping purchase tickets is not permitted.
  • Sheepgate is a drug, alcohol and smoke free campus.
  • Please limit pets to registered support animals only.
